Sardam Organizes Football Competition
On Saturday, November 8, 2014, boys in grades 5, 6, 7, and 8 from the Sardam International School, a member of the SABIS® network of PPP schools in Kurdistan, participated in a football competition organized by the school’s physical education teachers.
Sardam students were divided into8 teams of 9 players each. After 5 hours of competing against each other, the final whistle blew, and the trophy was placed in the hands of the winning team – Grade 7B. Trophies were also awarded to the best player in the competition, Alan Fakhri, the best scorer, Omar Zana, and the best keeper, Jeen Khoshnav.
Throughout the competition, student athletes showed sportsmanship, teamwork, and camaraderie, skills that the students are looking forward to showcase in the next competition.
