Soran Students Celebrate Flag Day

On December 17, 2017, the students in Soran International School, a SABIS^® PPP school in Kurdistan, celebrated Kurdish Flag Day.

 The students came to school and were arranged by grade level and together they sang the national anthem and the Pashmerga song. Then, some students recited poems they had written about Kurdistan. In the end, the students, teachers, and staff danced to Kurdish music.

The purpose of this activity was to inspire students to appreciate their country and learn the symbolism of their flag. “The activity was so important, and It made me proud of who I am,” said a student.To visit the gallery of the event, please click here.
