Soran Students Take a Trip to Gullan Park

On April 15, 2017, Grade 2 students at Soran International School, a SABIS^® PPP school in Kurdistan, took a trip to Gullan Park where they had a picnic in the grass.

The students visited Gullan Park, which is a resort near the city that is full of grass and greenery. The students put blankets on the ground and set-up a picnic of homemade food they brought as well as drinks and snacks. When they finished eating, everyone gathered to sing songs and play games.

The purpose of this activity is to encourage students to appreciate nature and the environment, also give them the opportunity to enjoy homemade Kurdish food together. The activity was enjoyed by everyone who attended. To visit the gallery of the event, please click here.
